Larry Baber, 81, of Camden Point, MO passed away, January 6, 2025.
He was born on March 18, 1943 to Clifford and Joan (Jackson) Baber in Smithville, MO. Larry grew up in Camden Point and graduated from North Platte High School. He then served in the Army National Guard from 1963-1969.
On May 8, 1986 he was united in marriage to Linda (Apel) Boswell. They made their home in Camden Point and later moved to Platte City in 2020. His wife, Linda, preceded him in death on January 13, 2022.
Larry retired from UPS after 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local Union 41 and farmed most of his life. He was an avid Royals and Chiefs Fan.
He was a 50+ year standing member of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Missouri AF&AM.
Larry was also preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children, Elaina (Steve) Lamley, Clifton Baber, and Edward Baber; grandchildren, Joseph Lamley, Jackson Lamley, Taylor Thomas, Milana Baber, and Charlee Baber; sister, Beverly Hershley; two nephews, Mark and Mike Hershley; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9th at Camden Point Christian Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Camden Point Cemetery.
