DEKALB COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Saturday in Dekalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F450 pulling a towed unit and driven by Dalton T. Sprohl, 20, Pattonsburg, was westbound on MO 6 at Route J just north of Amity.
The truck began to skid in an attempt to avoid a collision as another vehicle began to pull out in front. The towed unit jackknifed across the center of the road.
A 2013 Ford Edge driven by a 16-year-old girl from Maysville struck the F450, traveled off the side of the road and overturned.
DeKalb County EMS transported a passenger in the truck Chrystal L. Bessar, 41, Maysville, to Mosaic Life Care. Sprohl and the teen driver were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
