Sharron Wyvonne Shifflett 86, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 in Gower, MO health care center. She was born May 23, 1937 in Polo, MO, daughter of the late Clovevilla and Estel Swigart. She graduated from Calhoun High School was a Homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, sewing, bowling, spending with her children and grandchildren and working at her church the Faith United Baptist Church.
Sharron was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl "Gene" Eugene Shifflett, son, Jay Dean Shifflett, son in law, Mike Zirkle, and brother, Estel "Junior" Swigart, and grandson Jay Dean Shifflett II. Survivors include daughter, Shirley (Dianna) Shifflett, DesMoines, IA, son, Dennis (Maria) Shifflett, St. Joseph, MO, and daughter, Zena (David) Weese, St. Joseph, MO, daughter in law, Stephanie Shifflett, sister-In-Law, Georgina Swigart, 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren, .
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services 10:00 am, Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Faith United Baptist Church, St. Joseph, MO.
