The Dance Arts Center will host its eighth annual Coffee Crawl to promote and raise funds for the company's holiday production of The Nutcracker.
On Saturday October 3rd, from 10am to 1pm at the Art Attack Studio located 218 South 8th Street, the crawl will feature an array of specialty coffees and teas all based around The Nutcracker. Several downtown businesses will participate in the crawl for people to sample from including:
- Art Attack Studio
- Downtown Frames
- Garden Gate Flowers
- Hazel’s Coffee Bar
- Juniper Lane Home Decor
- Mod Podge Boutique
- Nesting Goods
- Polished & Pampered Salon
- Revl&co Restaurant & Cocktails
- The Den
- The Story Collective
During the crawl, dancers will participate dressed as their characters for participants to meet including Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, the evil Mouse Queen, and the Nutcracker Princess along with numerous other cast members in the dance production. Wristbands for the The Nutcracker Coffee Crawl are only $15 per person and can purchased in advance from any cast member, at The Dance Arts Center, online at Eventbrite.com, or Saturday at the Art Attack Studio.
The Nutcracker will be performed live at the Historic Missouri Theater with two shows on Saturday, December 5th, 2026 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Proceeds from the Coffee Crawl will help the Dance Arts Performing Company offset theater rental, choreography, props, music and other production costs.
