A man suspected in a reported shooting gave up to St. Joseph police after a two-hour standoff yesterday afternoon.
St. Joseph police report officers responded to a “shots fired” call around three o’clock Tuesday afternoon in the 2600 block of Folsom Street. Residents indicated there was an exchange of gunfire.
A suspect barricaded himself in a residence. Police called in the Special Response Team and began negotiations. The suspect gave up without incident after two hours. Another suspect remains at large.
The investigation continues.
