HOLT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7p.m. Saturday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Freightliner semi driven by a 38-year-old Graham, Washington man entered the intersection of Interstate 29 at U.S. 59 one mile east of Craig. The driver attempted to turn west on to U.S. 59 and failed to yield. A westbound 2013 Harley Davidson driven by a 37-year-old Mound City man. The motorcycle struck the front passenger side of the semi. The motorcyclist was ejected.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported the motorcyclist to Mosaic in St. Joseph. The semi driver was not injured. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
