Robert Nickels, 84, of Rosendale passed away Sunday, June 11th, 2023 in St. Joseph. He was born February 7th, 1939 to Curtis & Ida (Davison) Nickels. He married Margaret Ann "Maggie" Nickels and she preceded him in death in 2016.
Bob was a lifelong resident of Rosendale, Missouri. He spent his early career as an over-the-road truck driver and then worked for many years on a farm. He continued working in retirement and liked to stay busy and have things to do. He was loved and respected by his close-knit group of friends that he considered his family.
Graveside inurnment will be 10:00am, Saturday, July 8th, 2023 at Bennett Lane Cemetery north of Savannah, MO. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO is in charge of local arrangements.
