ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Sunday in Atchison.
A 2006 Honda motorcycle ridden by Caleb Cummins, 22, Atchison, was northbound in the 700 Block of North 8th Street, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Cummins lost control of the vehicle. It left the roadway on the west side of the street, struck a mailbox and a metal handrail.
He was ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest in a yard of a residence. EMS transported him to Mosaic in St. Joseph for treatment. Charges are pending, according to Wilson.
