MaryAnn "Tuley" Hosier 1938 - 2023

MaryAnn "Tuley" Hosier, 85, gained her wings peacefully at home comforted by family on Thursday November 23, 2023.Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Brad Greene officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Amberwell Atchison Volunteers (Atchison Hospital Auxiliary) or MS Society and may be left at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.MaryAnn was a resident of Atchison County. She was born on March 13th, 1938, to Carl Tuley and Frances "Foster" Tuley. She graduated from Atchison County Community Highschool in 1956. She then went onto Missouri Methodist Hospital School of Nursing to follow her dream and passion of becoming a nurse. MaryAnn's nursing career took her from Kansas City to Atchison, and onto Emporia. She finished out her nursing career as The Director of Volunteers at Atchison Hospital. On December 23rd, 1965, she married her true love, Jim Hosier. MaryAnn and Jim were blessed to spend 57 beautiful years together. They resided in Atchison County where they raised their two children. MaryAnn retired and spent the rest of her life as a devoted mother who never missed any activity her children took part in. MaryAnn is survived by her husband, Jim Hosier, daughter Lynn and Eddie Lust, son Lance and Elizabeth Hosier, three grandchildren, Kailen and Mitchel Kurtz, Piper and Blaze Hollands, Dalton, and Jami Lust, five beloved great grandbabies, and brother Ron and Linda Tuley. She is joined in heaven by her parents Carl and Frances Tuley, and brother Charlie Tuley.
