Betty Lou Mann, of Savannah Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 23rd, 2023 at her home in St. Joseph. She was born February 8th 1929 in Rea, Missouri to Horace and Vivian (Whorton) Cole. On May 4th 1957 she married Charles Edward Mann and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Betty graduated from Rosendale High School in 1947, graduated St. Joseph Junior College in 1952, and graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Medicine laboratory technology of which she passed her boards and worked in the medical field for 35 years. She loved her family and was a member of the First Christian Church in Savannah MO. She has lived the last four years at Country Squire and has enjoyed the daily activities and her many new friends.

Survivors include her son Roger (Barb) Mann of Savannah MO; grandchildren, Kristen (Doug) Schmitz; great grandchildren, Ethan Schmitz, Colton Schmitz, and Avery Schmitz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Patsy Ruth Cole and June Etta Goforth; one brother Ray Cole.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be 5:00pm-7:00pm, Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 26 2003 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.
