James H. “Butch” Keller, 78, of St. Joseph, MO passed away December 18, 2024.
He was born on July 15, 1946 to James Herman and Anita Ruth (Lewis) Keller in St. Jospeh, MO where he grew up and attended school.
On March 3, 2007, he was united in marriage to Diana Lynn Hawkins. After their marriage they lived in Faucett, MO and St. Joseph, MO. Diana passed away on August 21, 2020.
Butch was an avid bowler, loved making statuary, buying and selling antiques, and most of all he loved socializing. He worked for Ewing Kauffman at the Muehlebach Hotel in Kansas City and later owned and operated Faucett Statuary for several years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Diana Keller, his parents James and Anita Keller and his brother Jon T. Keller.
Butch is survived by children Danny Cope and wife Leslie, Dave Cope and wife Claire, Desire Wahlgren and husband J.T., and Chris John; grandchildren Daniel, Ana, Charlie, Elise, Christine, Bryson, and Jackson; great-granddaughter Walker; brother Kevin E. Keller and wife susan; sister Susie Row; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 23rd at Faucett Cemetery.
