Jerry Devlin, 87, of Kansas City, MO passed away, July 28, 2025.
He was born on February 23, 1938 to John Henry and Marie Ellen (Boyer) Devlin in Ottumwa, IA. Jerry grew up in Mexico, MO where he attended school.
Jerry lived in Kansas City most of his life. He married Pam Mazzio and she preceded his in death on June 8, 2021.
Jerry owned and operated Devlin and Son Concrete for 70 years and taught many his trade. He was an avid animal lover and was a private pilot. He loved to tell jokes and stories and was a friend to everyone. He will be remembered for his laugh.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Jerry is survived by his children, Gary (Kelly) Devlin, Loretta (Kent) Pine, and Vance (Barb) Devlin; their mother, Ruby Clifton; sisters, Deanna Martinez and Diane Bridges; bonus children, Jennifer (Scott) Brocato, Amy (Ryan) Sigg, Billy (Jennifer) Hill; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was “Uncle Jerry” to his nieces and nephews and many others that called him that.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
