We have another angel watching over us. Kevin Hedrick, 64 was a South Grand Prairie High School, Warrior, class of 1979. Kevin passed away December 6, 2025.
He loved his family so much. He liked jeeping, fishing, anything outdoors. Kevin built their beloved cabin at Lake Fork by hand with his dad. We all had a dance around a campfire to celebrate it. Please send prayers, love, and light to the Hedrick family.
At the age of 5, the family moved to Grand Prairie, TX where he lived his life. Most of his working years where in aircraft assembly. Kevin was active in Boy Scouts and loved backpacking through Colorado. He was on a mountain ice climbing when Mount Saint Helen’s volcano erupted.
He was the son of Royce and Mary Hedrick, born at Covina, California February 21, 1964, the oldest of two with a younger sister Kristy Hedrick. He was the uncle of Makenzie Morrow and her siblings, Malcolm and Marcie Morrow. Also surviving is Aunt Kay Dougan of Grand Prairie, TX and Joyce and Chuck Menghini of Pittsburg, KS, with many cousins and family in both states. Also surviving is his best friend Mark Margraf.
He was preceded in death by his father Royce Hedrick along with many friends through the years.
