As the 2026 Apple Blossom Parade quickly approaches this summer, organizers are reminding organizations, businesses, and community groups the deadline to join the parade is nearing.

Parade entry forms must be submitted by April 15th to join the parade lineup at the standard fee.  Entries received after the 15th will be subject to increased fees and applications will only be accepted until April 29th.  After the 29th deadline, no applications will be accepted.

The Apple Blossom Parade each year brings together a wide range of participants, including local businesses, schools, service organizations, and community groups, all contributing to one of St. Joseph’s most anticipated annual traditions.

“The Apple Blossom Parade continues to grow thanks to the creativity and participation of our community,” said Executive Director Michelle Wolfe in a news release. “We encourage anyone planning to participate to submit their entry soon to ensure their place in this year’s event.”

The 2026 Apple Blossom Parade will step off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd, traveling along Frederick Avenue through downtown St. Joseph.  This year’s theme, “Adventure: St. Joseph,” celebrates the spirit of exploration in conjunction with America’s 250th anniversary.  All parade units must be decorated, and creativity is encouraged.  The parade will be held rain or shine.
