St. Joseph police arrested a 45-year-old St. Joseph man after he shot through the window of his house, fled in his car, and crashed into a utility pole.
Police say the man shot out the window of his house at 3136 Charles Street shortly after one o’clock Friday morning during a domestic dispute. No one was harmed in the shooting, but shots did strike his neighbor’s homes. Officers recovered seven shell casings.
Police say the man emptied the rounds in his gun, then got in his car and fled. He crashed into a utility pole at 28th and Patee Streets. Officers took the man into custody. Charges are pending.
