DEKALB COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Monday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 GMC Sierra driven by Ronald G. Dane, 75, Yukon, Oklahoma, was westbound on U.S. 36 seven miles east of Stewartsville.
The driver fell asleep. The pickup traveled off the south side of the road, through the median, struck the embankment several time and then crossed the median crossover.
DeKalb-Clinton County EMS transported Dane to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
