Freddie Lee Alamanza, Sr., 77, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
He was born July 21, 1948 in St. Joseph to Thomas and Margaret (Williams) Almanza. He grew up in St. Joseph.
Freddie proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years during the Vietnam War.
After his service, he worked for Suitte Construction in Dinwiddie, Virginia, for about 30 years until he retired. He returned to St. Joseph in 2018.
Freddie enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son, Freddie Lee Almanza, Jr.; and siblings, Yvonne Almanza and Terry Almanza.
