BUCHANAN COUNTY —A St. Joseph woman was injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Subaru passenger vehicle driven by Samantha J. Trautman, 30, St. Joseph, was southbound on Interstate 29 just north of U.S. 169.
The Subaru was following too closely and rear-ended a 2002 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Christy N. Bozarth, 37, St. Joseph. Both vehicles came to rest in the median.
A private vehicle transported Bozarth to Mosaic. Trautman was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
