Peggy J. Lowery, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025.
She was born January 26, 1953 to Dewey L. Sr. and Linda S. (Saylor) Lowery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Peggy's heart found its true calling in the joy of creation, particularly in quilting, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Gardening was another of Peggy's cherished pastimes. Most of all, family was at the core of everything Peggy held dear.
Peggy's heart was always guided by her love for God, which showed in every aspect of her life. She had a unique gift for recognizing when someone needed a helping hand, and she never hesitated to offer her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Samual Lowery.
Survivors include her children, MarJane Sanford, Joe Lallave, and Peggy Lallave; grandchildren, Heather Sanford, Krystalle Sanford, Michael, Adriana, Aubrey, Mia, and Aaliyah Lallave; siblings, Judith Leaver, Linda Preskey, Bruce Lowery, Michael Lowery, Mitchell Lowery, and Dewey Lowery, Jr.
Interment Hampton Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
