Missouri teen hospitalized after Jeep overturns

DAVIESS COUNTY— A Missouri teen was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Sunday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Jeep Liberty driven by Gary M. Carman, 57, Hamilton, was eastbound on MO 6 at jamestown.

The driver swerved for a deer in the road. The jeep traveled off the road and overturned.

Grundy County EMS transported a 14-year-old male passenger from Laredo, Mo., to Wright Memorial Hospital.  Carman was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
