Frances “Morine” Walker, 95, of Savannah, MO went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday March 28, 2026. She was born March 1st, 1931 to Ralph Ernest & Mabel Marie (Campbell) Dorrel.
Morine was a Special Education teacher for many years. She loved working with children of all ages. She was involved with Easter Seals, Special Olympics, CASA and many other children’s organizations. She enjoyed reading, attending and serving in her church in many capacities throughout her days on this earth and stepped in as a volunteer worker where needed.
Survivors include her children, David (Sherry) Walker of Liberty, MO, Diane (David) Andersen of Hazen, ND, and Douglas (Amy) Walker of Rea, MO; one brother, James (Janice) Dorrel of Union Star, MO; 28 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Debra Walker, Denise White, Darla Hunt, and Dennis Walker; and one brother, Ralph Eldon Dorrel.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be from 5:00pm – 7:00pm Wednesday April 1st, 2026 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday April 2nd, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Savannah. Burial will follow funeral services at Bolckow Cemetery in Bolckow, MO.
