CLINTON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 10:30a.m. Sunday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford Ranger driven by a 17-year-old Cameron boy was northbound on U.S. 69 four miles south of Cameron.
The driver failed to yield after stopping at a stop sign. The front of the pickup struck the front of a southbound 2008 Ford Explorer driven by Kenneth R. Gwinn, 74, Hamilton.
After impact both vehicles traveled off the south side of the road.
Cameron EMS transported Gwinn and a passenger Jo A. Gwin, 73, Hamilton, to Liberty Hospital. The teen driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
