ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged violent incident that occurred on April 19 in the 500 Block of North 10th Street in Atchison.
On Tuesday, officers arrested 34-year-old Anthony W. Lunsford of Atchison, in the 800 block Main Street, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
He is being held on requested charges of domestic battery, theft, and criminal damage to property. Lunsford also faces charges involving possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia which were found on his person and for resisting arrest, according to Wilson.
Lunsford has spend time in custody numerous times over the past five years and was convicted of theft, according to online jail records.
