ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a wanted Kansas felon on new charges after a weekend arrest.
On November 27, police arrested Corey L. Spangler, 42, Kansas City, Kansas, in the 900 block South 7th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Spangler is being held on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and on a Buchanan County Missouri warrant for probation violation, according to Wilson. He has a previous conviction for aggravated battery in Brown County, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
