BROWN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Tuesday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Freightliner truck driven by Cody A. Barger, 26, St. Joseph, was westbound on 270 Road six miles north of Robinson.
The driver attempted to pass a 2021 Freightliner truck driven by Bradley D. Sommers, 63, Robinson, who preparing to turn right onto Sage Brush Road.
The 2017 Freightliner struck the passenger side of the 2021 truck.
EMS transported Barger to Amberwell. Somers was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
