GRUNDY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Thursday in Grundy County.
A 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by John W. Babbitt, 39, Humphreys, was westbound on MO 6 three miles east of Trenton.
The pickup rear-ended a 2017 Chevy van driven by Derrick A. Norman, 31, Chillicothe, that slowed for a farm tractor.
After impact, the van traveled off the road and through a fence. Another unidentified vehicle rear-ended the Silverado and left the scene.
Grundy County Ambulance transported Norman to Hedrick Medical Center. Babbitt was not wearing a seat belt and not injured, according to the MSHP.
