Keith "Buck" Eugene Soethout, 69, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully at Mosaic Life Care on October 25, 2025 with his family at his side.
Keith was born on December 24, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO to Evelyn L. (Williams) and Robert E. Soethout.
He graduated in 1974 from Central High School. Keith retired from the construction and farming industries in 2023.
Keith was a free spirit. He loved, and was loved deeply, by his sisters. Keith was the kindest soul and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved those Chiefs through thick and thin!
Keith is preceded in death by both his parents.
Keith is survived by his four sisters, his twin Kathryn Sebastiani, Denver, CO, Teresa (Les) Simmons, Alison Kazerouni, Joyce (Tim) Bullock, all of St. Joseph; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care Keith received while he was in the Mosaic Life Care ICU.
There will be a graveside service and inurnment at Ashland Cemetery at 2:00 PM on November 3, 2025. Keith has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
