ANDREW COUNTY —A St. Joseph woman was injured in an accident just before 7p.m. Wednesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 GMC Sierra driven by Gregory T. Seifert, 52, St. Joseph, was southbound on Business Route 71 three miles north of St. Joseph.
The pickup began turning left to Southbound Interstate 29 and struck the drivers side of a 2018 Dodge Journey driven by Amber E. Ouxier, 29, St. Joseph, that was northbound on U.S. 59.
After impact, the pickup traveled partially of the east side of U.S. 59. The Dodge SUV traveled off the road, struck a guardrail, returned to the road and struck bridge rail.
Andrew County EMS transported Ouxier to Mosaic Life Care. Seifert was not injured. Ouxier was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
