A bowling event will be held Saturday August 1st on the southside of St. Joseph for&nbsp;recovery awareness.

The Samaritan Counseling Center will host an evening of community, laughter and lots of bowling at 1pm on Saturday, Aug. 1st, at 6938 King Hill Ave.&nbsp; The goal is to raise awareness of substance use in the community and support the life-changing services provided through the Samaritan Counseling Center.

Participants can expect lots of bowling, a team competition, door prizes, giveaways, guest speakers and a night that will make a difference.
