Velma "Loretta" Ford 93, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025. She was born August 24, 1932 in St. Joseph, Missouri, daughter of the late Cloyetta and Roy Shipley. The family will receive friends from 1 -2:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Pastor Chris Olson officiating. The interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
