Ronda Kay Sahagun 65, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 in a St. Joseph, MO hospital. She was born May 20, 1960 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Jneva and Glen Huston.
She attended Lafayette High School, and worked at Stetson Hats in the Quality Control Department. She enjoyed spending time with family, singing, fishing, and playing card and board games. Ronda was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Deborah Skeen, Barbara Huston, Ruth Huston, and Glenda Johnson, brothers, David, Galen, William, and Douglas Huston. Survivors include: husband, El'Rico Sahagun, daughter, Erica Meers, son Eric Meers, grandchildren: Jennifer (Tyler) Kyle, Zach Meers, Danielle Reynolds, Courtney, Kayleen Meers, Emma, Katie, Megan and Ellie Meers, sisters, Nova (B.J.) Jones, Tina (Floyd Townsend) Sollars, and Connie Phelan, and a step-daugther, Jordan Sahagun, grandchildren, Logan, Leighton, Emilia, and Laine and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Tyler Kyle officiating. Memorials are requested to the Ronda Sahagun Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
