Mosaic Life Care reports it is treating 62 COVID-19 patients in its system.
Mosaic reports that as of Monday morning it is treating 57 COVID patients at the St. Joseph hospital with five being treated in Maryville.
The St. Joseph Health Department reported 269 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, the last official report issued prior to the New Year’s Day holiday weekend. The department also reported the death of a man in his 80s. The department recorded 78 new cases on Tuesday, 91 on Wednesday, and 100 on Thursday.
Andrew County reports 65 active COVID-19 cases. Doniphan County reports 50 active cases.
Buchanan County has recorded 18,137 total COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began, resulting in a total of 239 deaths. Slightly more than 34,000 county residents have had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, 39% of the county population.
Andrew County has recorded 3,713 total COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began and 45 deaths from the virus. Doniphan County reports a total of 1,720 cases and 29 deaths.
