Judy K. McMillian, a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away on November 22, 2023. Born on July 31, 1951, in St. Joseph, MO, to Harry F. and the late Lois M. (Hudson) Calvert.
She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1969. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Ray McMillian on August 15, 1970. While her work at Seitz brought her immense satisfaction, it was her role as a devoted caretaker to all around her that truly defined her character.
Judy was an enthusiast of life’s simplest pleasures. Whether it was cooking Sunday dinners, dancing, bowling in the Saturday night league at Olympia Lanes, camping, fishing, or simply hosting a bonfire, Judy infused everything she did with warmth and love.
She is remembered fondly by her surviving loved ones: her devoted husband of 53 years, Thomas R. McMillian; children, Jannel Robinson (Dustin), Tommie Haeberle, and Mindy McMillian (Jumall Perkins); grandchildren, Hayden and Kalyn Haeberle, Tage and Jasmine Robinson, and Jumall Jones Jr. Judy is also survived by her father, Harry Calvert, and a host of extended family and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Lois M. Calvert, and her brothers, Larry, Richard "Rick", and Terry Calvert. Her memory lives on, nurtured by the many lives she touched with her loving spirit.
