Cheryl L. Utterback, 76, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024.
She was born on November 15, 1947, to Robert D. and Helen K. (Cashatt) Gastineau in Rock Port, Missouri.
Cheryl married Carey B. Utterback on July 23, 1965. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2021.
She worked as a waitress for many years, and then later on worked as a security guard for DFS.
Cheryl loved her dog, Elizabeth, and enjoyed taking her along with her. She enjoyed mushroom hunting and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Curtiss Utterback; and brothers, Rick and Brian Gastineau.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle Brant (Utterback); grandchildren, Kattie Tyes (Je’Neal) and Courtney Ross; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Nevaeh Sansone, Devin and Whitney, Amanda, Curtis, Jeremy, Emily and Carli Utterback; sister, Kim Rose (Bob); and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
