NODAWAY COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 6:30a.m. Saturday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Jeep Wrangler driven by Sage C. Scanlan, 20, Bolckow, was northbound on U.S. 71 five and one half miles south of Maryville.
The Jeep rear-ended a 2003 Chevy Blazer driven by Galen L. Gregory, 72, Guilford. After impact, the SUV traveled off the, struck an embankment, overturned and struck a sign.
Nodaway County ambulance transported Gregory and a passenger Marsha K. Gregory, 66, Guilford, to Mosaic in Maryville. Scanlan was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
