3 adults, 2 juveniles injured after 3-vehicle Nodaway Co. crash

NODAWAY COUNTY—Five people were injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Thursday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Ford Explorer driven by Charles W. Henry, 36, Ravenwood, was eastbound on U.S. 136 at Pleasant View Drive just east of Maryville.

The Ford rear-ended a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek driven by Connor J. Nielson, 20, Maryville, who had slowed to turn left onto Pleasant View Drive. 

After impact, the Ford became attached to the Subaru. Both vehicles crossed the center of the road. The Subaru struck the rear driver side tire of a westbound 2004 Ford F150 driven by Grant M. Hagaman, 41, Maryville.

Nodaway County ambulance transported Nielson, Henry, and three passengers in the Subaru including Randi K. Nielson, 44, Maryville, and two juveniles to Mosaic in Maryville. Hagaman was not injured. Henry was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
