United Way reports another successful Stuff the Bus campaign

Nearly 1,900 school supply items were donated for needy students during the annual Stuff the Bus drive.

The United Way of Greater St. Joseph reports community members donated 18,962 items at both Wal Marts in St. Joseph. The United Way reports $1,700 was donated as well.

More than 300,000 school supply items have been donated since the United Way began the Stuff the Bus drive began in 2009.

School supplies will be distributed through United Way partner agencies, including the Salvation Army.

Mosaic Life Care, Walmart, and First Student bus company contribute to the school supply drive.
