Patricia “Pat” Roades, 75, of St. Joseph passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024. Pat was born on May 29, 1949 in St. Joseph, MO to Anthony “Tony” and Gladys (Flint) Kline.
She married Jackie “Jack” Roades on July 26, 1969 in St. Joseph, MO. The two had just celebrated their 55th Anniversary.
She was a self-employed hairdresser for 25 years and then worked at the Disney Store for 9 years.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts Lula Moss, Alice Propheter, Cora Propheter, Iva Botts, Lillie Adams, Theresa Evans; uncles Everett Flint, John Robert Flint, Nickolas and Henry Kline; Buell and Mary Roades, in-laws.
Survivors include her husband, Jack; three children, Tina Leight-Roades (Julie) of San Marcos, CA, Greg Roades (Julie), and Michael Roades (Georgia) of St. Joseph, MO; eight grandchildren, Cierra, Maddie, Gabe, Braden, Kailey, Andy, Sam, and Cambria; six great-grandchildren, Cuilin, Keiron, Norah, Callum, Lylah, and Ivan; other relatives and friends.
Pat loved geneology, all things Disney, all types of crafts, sewing, and spending time with family. Jack and Pat spent many years vacationing in California so they could spend time at Disneyland. For many years, they had annual passes and one year was in the park 30 times.
Pat also loved the holidays. She would decorate the whole house mainly in a Disney theme.
When she was growing up, she spent many summers at her parent’s cabin at Lake Contrary with her cousins.
Pat has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no services.
