WORTH COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Monday in Worth County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Cadillac driven by a 45-year-old Grant City man was northbound on U.S. 169 five miles north of Gentry. The driver fell asleep. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, struck an embankment, became airborne and overturned.
Worth County EMS transported the driver to Mosaic in Albany. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
