Buchanan County reports 73 new COVID cases, no new deaths Friday

The St. Joseph Health Department reports 73 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, but no additional deaths in Buchanan County.

The county's case total is now 8,864 and its death toll is 135.

Mosaic Life Care reports they are treating 79 COVID-19 patients, which is an increase of six since Wednesday. Seventy-four patients are being treated at the St. Joseph hospital, four in Maryville and one in Albany.

Andrew County reports another 20 cases Friday for a total of 1,792. Their death toll stands at 16.

Nodaway County reports 33 new cases Friday for a pandemic total of 2,414.

Statewide, Missouri reported an additional 4,332 cases (416,758 total) and 30 new deaths (5,912 total) Friday.

Doniphan County, KS saw 30 more cases for a total of 792. Brown County has 21 new cases for a pandemic total of 1,107.

Kansas now reports 242,322 total cases - an increase of 5,504 since Wednesday. The state also shows an additional 121 deaths for a total of 3,148.
