GENTRY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Saturday in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Adam B. Sherrill, 40, Stanberry, was northbound on Route H nine miles northeast of King City.
The car traveled off the north side of the road, began to slide sideways and the driver overcorrected. The car crossed the road, traveled off the south side of the road, struck an embankment, rolled, struck a fence and caught fire.
Grand River EMS transported Sherrill to Mosaic Life Care. The MSHP did not have seat belt usage information.
