ATCHISON COUNTY, Missouri —One person was injured in an accident and then arrested just after 11:30p.m. Friday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Dodge Durango driven by Dennis A. Schebaum, 67, Maryville, was eastbound on U.S. 136 five miles east of Tarkio.
The SUV traveled off the south side of the road, returned to the road, traveled off the north side of the road and struck an embankment.
Atchison-Holt EMS transported Schebaum to Fairfax Community Hospital and then arrested on requested charges of Felony DWI, Driving while revoked, failure to register vehicle, failure to drive on right half of road resulting in accident. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
