Karen Lynn Owens, 82, of St. Joseph passed away January 4, 2026. Karen was born May 31, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to George Raymond and Marjorie (Standley) Hecimovic.
She worked numerous office jobs in the area prior to retirement. Karen was a member of Calvary Chapel.
Survivors include her children Mike Owens (Nancy), Susan Stufflebean (Mark), Andrew Owens (Dominque), Greg Owens; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Sandra Hannah, Cathy Reagan; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Karen liked to paint, sew, and crafting.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her but we are comforted knowing she is at eternal peace in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Services will be Monday, January 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 12, 2026 beginning at 1:00 pm.
