John Thomas “Tom” Keller, 77, Parkville, Missouri, formerly of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025.
He was born August 18, 1947 in Mexico, Missouri to John Thomas Keller II and Dorothy (Ingwersen) Keller. Tom grew up in different parts of Missouri before the family settled in St. Joseph when he was in seventh grade. He was a graduate of Central High School.
He attended St. Joseph Junior College. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and then in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Tom married Debra Ann Beirlein on October 16, 2021. She survives of the home.
An outgoing person who easily made friends, he was a sales manager for Hillyard Chemical Company for 20 years before moving to Chicago, where he worked for Bunzel and retired from there.
Tom loved to golf and enjoyed watching the Chiefs and Royals, as well as doing carpentry and home projects.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Deb; daughter, Laura Baron (Jon); grandsons, Eli and Dylan Baron; siblings, Brad Keller (Mary Beth), Diane Wanserski (Tom), and Debbie Mahoney (Joe); former wife and mother of his child, Roxy Jo Zembles; nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends; beloved dog, Zoey; and beloved cat, Zara.
Services will be held at a later date. Natural Farewell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
