The St. Joseph Mustangs extended their win streak to six games with a 6-2 win at Carroll, Iowa Sunday.
Lafayette alum and now Wichita State commit Brayden Luikart led the way at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored. On the mound, Northwest Missouri State’s Andrew Clark got the win in six innings, allowing just three hits and one earned run.
St. Joseph improves to 12-5 overall and now takes over first place in the MINK League’s North Division.
After playing for 17 consecutive days, the Mustangs are off Monday. They play at Sedalia on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
