BROWN COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple charges after a vehicle crash in Brown County.
Just after midnight Monday, a Brown County deputy received a call from dispatch to investigate the hit and run destruction of a mailbox
in the vicinity of U.S. 73 Highway near mile marker 86., according to Sheriff John Merchant.
Upon investigation, a deputy encountered a vehicle in the vicinity with a flat tire and damage to the front of the vehicle. It was determined through the investigation that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Ethan Nickel 24 Horton be arrested on requested charges of DUI, Failure to report an accident and Interference with an law enforcement officer. He is no longer in custody.
