Shawn Michael McBride 44, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday December 12, 2024 at the Liberty Hospital. He was born May 21, 1980 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Shawn graduated from Central High School, enjoyed working at Mosaic Life Care as a greeter, and was an avid St. Louis Rams fan. He enjoyed sitting outside on nice days, listening to his police scanner where he learned every street and cross street in St. Joseph, and watching his favorite TV shows.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Kay Garner and Uncles Thomas and David McBride.
Survivors include his father, Michael (Kendal) McBride, St. Joseph, MO, mother, Sharon Davis, St. Joseph, MO, siblings: Chris (Becky) Gee, Belton, MO, Rhonda (Geoffrey) Gould, Lenexa, KS, Ginger (Patrick) McGuire, Maysville, MO, nieces Bianca Gould, Gracie Garner, and Eisley McGuire and nephews Cody Garner and Owen McGuire, Aunts Carol and Evelyn McBride, and cousins Laura McBride and Colter Revels.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home, with a memorial service starting at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home. He will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
