Michael "Tony" Anthony Zuptich 61, of Stewartsville, MO, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Saint Joseph, MO. He was born January 28, 1963 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Margaret and Charles Zuptich Sr. He graduated from Benton High School class of 1981, he worked at Peach Tree Door, Stroud Trucking, Exide Battery, and most recently he was a CNA, Certified Nurse Assistant, for several health care organizations. He loved to fish, listen to music, especially classic Rock, antiquing, he was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and baseball fan, but most especially he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Tony was preceded in death by wife, Linda Zuptich, his parents, daughter, Tara Phillips, and brother in law, Robert Row. Survivors include: son, Jeremy (Krystle) Harris, Gulfport, MS, daughter, Jenny Pace, St. Joseph, MO, brothers, Mark (Becky) Zuptich, St. Joseph, MO, Richard (Elizabeth) Zuptich, Trenton, MO, and Joe (Susan) Zuptich, St. Joseph, MO, sisters, Gail Row and Roseane (Ted) Wolfe, both of St. Joseph, grandchildren, Makayla, Ashlyn, Talan, Tenley, and Tatum, and great-grandchildren: Amara and Journey.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10:00 am at the St. James Catholic Church, Father Joseph Totton Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm, Thursday, and the family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
