Billie Doris Hatheway, 80, Cosby, Missouri, passed away quietly at home on Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born November 3, 1942 in Clinton County, Missouri, to Alice and Virgil (Turner) Scott. Billie married Elmer Hatheway Sr. on May 23, 1964 and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2017. Billie Doris was a homemaker. She enjoyed visiting close friends, trips with her husband, playing at the casino, fishing and dancing.
Survivors include her children : Ricky, Belinda, Lena, Elmer Jr., Ronnie, Billy, Debra & Everett, 30 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and three on the way.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Rupp Funeral Home . Funeral services and public live stream following at 2:00 PM.
