Born November 19, 1928 - Saint Joseph, Missouri, Ann Elizabth Conroy, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at Laverna Manor in Savannah, Missouri.
Ann will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her deep faith, and her ability to endure life's hardships with dignity and courage.
Ann was the youngest of six children born to Charles and Louise (Sommer) Heiney. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Salsberry (d.1969) and second husband, Marion Conroy (d.2023). Her siblings William Heiney, Katherine Heath, Marguerite Francis, Irene Hainline, Dorothy O'Dell, her daughter Linda Power, daughter-in-law Norma Salsberry and great-grandson Andrew Meyerdirk.
Ann is survived by her children; Ernie Salsberry (Donna), Mark Salsberry (Mary Ann), Karl Salsberry (Janet), Joyce Amos (Leonard), Janice Milbourn (Myron), Susan Schmidt (Jeff), Laurie Funk (Delbert), Karen Merritt (Ed), Gina Smith (Jim), Mike Conroy (Christy), Roger Conroy, Steve Conroy, Lisa Bressman (Lee) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
The family extends a special thank you to Laverna Manor in Savannah and Three Rivers Hospice, in St Joseph, for their loving and compassionate care.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 27, St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will gather with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family requests that contributions be made to Missouri Right To Life or to St. Mary Catholic Church.
